A very exciting match today at BLAST Austin Major is MongolZ vs FaZe Clan. MongolZ are doing what we’ve come to expect from them - solid performances, but nothing particularly impressive. Still, they’ve shown they’re a strong team. FaZe, on the other hand, has more to prove, and they’re clearly working towards that. s1mple seems to be getting back into form, and overall, the team is starting to look sharper with each game. I imagine karrigan is working overtime - not just studying opponents, but also analyzing the evolving state of his own roster and adapting accordingly. FaZe has a history of hitting their stride at this point in the tournament, and that’s what makes them so dangerous. Even though this isn’t an elimination match, FaZe feels like they’re heating up to the point where an upset over MongolZ is realistic.
