Full analysis:

The match between the eighth and third teams in NBL. USK are struggling, having lost eight of their last twelve matches. If the Prague side want to avoid the play-offs, they need to start winning. And where else but at home?

The road will take them in front of a quality defence, as their offence has been sterile in recent weeks. In their last five games, they've scored more than 70 points only against Nymburk in a decisive game (when Nymburk didn't give a shit) and against Usti in the cup (when they underestimated them). In total, they only averaged 73.8 points.

USK's defence has been weaker this year than in previous years (86.5 points allowed per game), but against Brno it's a perfect match where they hustle. This is a battle of two young teams, with Brno currently third in the standings, so USK's motivation will be high. Brno, on the other hand, are fighting for second place (with Písek, Opava and Ústí).

Brno have the second-best defence in the league after Nymburk (79 goals per game) and have brought in top scorer Frye from Spišská Nová Ves. Admittedly, that somewhat spoils the under pick. Frye is an excellent three-point shooter, but I don't think he'll shoot that much in his NBL debut.

I would also like to mention that Brno is one of the worst teams in the NBL from three (28.4%), USK is a bit below average with 30.9%. Speaking of threes, Brno has only Frye and Bálint to really threaten from distance.

The game will also be played in Folimanka hall, which has some of the toughest rims of the baskets in the league. This year, the two teams have scored 164 and 154 (Folimanka hall) points, respectively, in their meetings. As the two core Czech teams have been together for two seasons, I'm including the 2023/24 season's matches: five times out of five games he was under 160, and four times very significantly so.

The young teams are playing in waves, so the odds for wins, handicaps and points will be "flying" in LIVE. However, I think one quarter will go somewhere in the region of 30 points and in a game that is important for both sides, the total will be under 160.
