Teplice are in dire straits offensively. They lack quality up front and have scored at most one goal per game since the winter break. In their last game against Baník Ostrava, Teplice failed to even get a shot on target. However, striker Abdallah Gning is back in the team after an unsuccessful transfer to Poland. He was with Widzew Lodz last week but failed to pass a medical. At least Teplice's attacking threat has returned. On the other hand, Teplice's defensive line is compact, reliable and cohesive.

Pardubice are currently tied with Dukla Prague for the worst record in the Czech league. Their game is chaotic. They don't score goals and their defence isn't great. They try to win games by sheer force of will. Their biggest star, striker Zlatohlavek, left the club for Baník in the winter. The reinforcements brought in to help the club have so far failed to live up to expectations.
